Kahal B'raira is Greater Boston’s congregation for Humanistic Judaism. We have offered a nontheistic alternative in contemporary Jewish life since 1975.

Join us for Sunday School for Pre-K through 9th graders and adult programing and service. Our program will feature Dr. Jonathan Brumberg-Kraus, Professor of Religion and Program Coordinator for Jewish Studies at Wheaton College. He will speak about culinary history and culture in Judaism. Jonathan connects sacred Jewish rituals with contemporary narratives about why we eat what we eat and brings medieval Jewish texts to bear on this present moment. The morning begins at 9:15am and is held at the Fayerweather Street School at 765 Concord Avenue, Cambridge. Children are always welcome to visit the Sunday School during Adult Programming.
