Kahal B'raira is Greater Boston’s congregation for Humanistic Judaism. We have offered a nontheistic alternative in contemporary Jewish life since 1975.

Join us for Sunday School for Pre-K through 9th graders and Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial) service and speaker. 

Our program will feature Janet Singer Applefield, who will speak about combating hatred and injustice. Janet was born in Poland in 1935, and she was placed in hiding during the war. After the war, she reunited with her father, and they came to the U.S. in 1947. Janet is a social worker and lives in the greater Boston area. Learn more about Janet.

The morning begins at 9:15am and is held at the Fayerweather Street School at 765 Concord Avenue, Cambridge. Children are always welcome to visit the Sunday School during Adult Programming.
