Kahal B'raira is Greater Boston’s congregation for Humanistic Judaism. We have offered a nontheistic alternative in contemporary Jewish life since 1975. We are an inclusive, welcoming, and progressive congregation.
Join us for our Holocaust Remembrance Day including Sunday School for Pre-K through 9th graders and adult programming and service. At 10:00 am we have a moving service that speaks to both our hearts and minds about the events of that period. Music, poetry, history and narrative together underscore our commitment to never forget and to pledge to never allow these things to be repeated. After our service, we will hear from Aron Greenfield, a Holocaust survivor who will share his story. Mr Greenfield will also speak with our older Sunday school students before he begins his presentation to adults. Read more about Mr. Greenfield HERE. All are welcome!
The morning begins at 9:15am and is held at the Fayerweather Street School at 765 Concord Ave., Cambridge. For more information please visit: kahalbraira.org.
