Volunteer Opportunity

Family Table, Boston's Only Kosher Food Pantry

Sunday morning, September 12, 2010

This is our HIgh Holiday distribution and volunteers are needed to ensure that our 265 recipient families all receive their food orders.  Volunteering to pack and deliver groceries is a wonderful project to do alone or with family or friends.  Children are welcome and families find it to be an especially meaningful experience that helps kids learn about helping those less fortunate than themselves.  In short, it's a wonderful "tzedakah" experience.

If you would like to participate, please email Barbara Zolit at
bzolit@jfcsboston.org or call 781-693-5593 by Friday, September 3, to sign up.  Read more about specific volunteering instructions for distribution day.  What we need to know:  1) Your name; 2) A work, home, or cell phone number; 3) Your home town or your destination after you make deliveries (we will do our best to send you in your direction of choice)

Family Table is a program of Jewish Family & Children's Service.
