Honey Hot Dogs

This is an easy, easy, easy dish that can be an hors d'oeuvre for a larger dinner or a quick treat of a meal for your family.  Kids absolutely love this, but so do the adults.  It tastes best when it is freshly made, so prepare just before serving – it will only take about 10 minutes.

Ingredients

1 package of mini cocktail hot dogs or regular hot dogs

Honey

Mustard for dipping

If you are using regular hot dogs, cut each one into 3 pieces.  Place hot dogs in a non-stick skillet and toss gently with a wooden spoon on medium-high heat until they begin to brown.  Drizzle a few tablespoons of honey over the hot dogs and continue to cook, stirring to coat, until the hot dogs look glazed.  Keep stirring as the honey will burn otherwise.  Pour into a serving dish and serve immediately with a small bowl of regular mustard or honey mustard for dipping.  Be careful – these are very hot!
